HETHA @ Uttarakhand
The Himalayan Badri (Pahadi) cow is the native cattle breed of Uttarakhand and an integral part of the Himalayan ecosystem. Grazing freely on native herbs, grasses, and shrubs in the pristine Himalayan landscape, these cows produce A2 milk that has been traditionally valued for its nutritional and medicinal properties.Known for their resilience, strong immunity, and low-maintenance nature, Badri cows are exceptionally well adapted to the challenging Himalayan mountain terrain.
The breed was officially recognized and registered by ICAR – National Bureau of Animal Genetic Resources (NBAGR) under Accession No. INDIA_CATTLE_2400_BADRI_03040.
HETHA is actively engaged in the conservation and propagation of the Badri cow in the Champawat district of Uttarakhand, helping preserve this valuable indigenous genetic heritage for future generations.

HETHA Nandishala @ Bhiroli, Uttar Pradesh
At HETHA, every cow and bull is valued equally. Our Nandishala reflects our belief that male calves and bulls deserve the same care, dignity, and purpose as cows.Rather than being neglected, our bulls play an active role in the farm's ecosystem. They assist in natural farming practices, contribute to breeding programs, and provide dung and gaumutra that are used in organic agriculture and the preparation of traditional Panchgavya products. At our Certified Organic Farm in Bulandshahr, wheat, rice, mustard and millets are cultivated using natural inputs derived from cow dung and gaumutra.
The farm is certified organic by ECOCERT
, ensuring adherence to internationally recognized organic farming standards.
Through the Nandishala initiative, HETHA seeks to demonstrate the immense value of bulls in sustainable agriculture and encourage farmers, dairies, and gaushalas to recognize their true potential. Just like cows, Nandis (Bulls) deserve respect, care, and a meaningful place within the agricultural ecosystem.
